Dear Parents,

We come to the end of another good learning week online and for those attending school. Our thanks to all of the children who are working so hard despite not being in school, and a big thank you to the Teachers who continue to work on improving the offer we are providing for our children. It looks like a really cold weekend so please wrap up warm on your walks and keep yourselves safe.

Parents Meeting:

Our thanks to all the parents who were able to attend the meetings this week. The feedback has been really positive. Parents commented on how useful they found the meetings as they were able to share experiences with other parents and as their children were present, they heard first hand from their Teachers that they must complete their online learning. We know home learning can be difficult and appreciate the way parents are supporting their children. For those parents who were unable to attend the meetings, please contact your child’s class Teacher if you need help with accessing the remote learning.

A gentle reminder. Please, please, please do not visit people outside of your family or support bubble. This is especially important for those children coming into school. Should we become aware that a child has travelled or made a visit outside of the family or support bubble, we will ask that the child to be kept at home for 10 days to limit the risk of possible infection. Thank you for your continued support.

iPad Reminders:

Please remind your child that the school iPads are for learning ONLY and should not be used for playing games unless, they are the ones installed on the iPad and related to learning. Parents please also ensure that iPads are not used in bedrooms, and removed from your child at night and left to charge. We have become aware of children using their iPads after 10pm and accessing games on- line. Thank you for your continued support.
