Year 5's trip to Deptford Creekside was successful. The children extended their geographical and historical knowledge of the Creek and its importance, especially where trade was concerned. As a year group, we were able to go wading in the river- using sticks to keep our balance and a net to catch amphibians and fishes, who used the river as their habitat.
