Dear mums, dads and carers
As the weather now looks as if it will be even hotter than predicted last week, we have gone through a revised risk assessment with our H&S adviser as the temperature now looks as if it will exceed 34° for the next few days.

Important Information for schools, parents and carers regarding meningococcal disease
Today we were awarded OPAL Platinum. This is our third Platinum award and means we are now an OPAL Honours school; one of, if not the first in London.
Kender will be holding our Comic Relief day on Friday 27th March; the last day of the Spring Term.

School Play Strategy
The school play strategy is designed to support pupils’ personal, social and academic development through high-quality, engaging play opportunities. Play outside in all its forms is used as a powerful tool to enhance communication, confidence and collaboration across the school.
Over the years, Kender Primary have worked hard to enhance their site. They’ve planted trees for shade on their playground and to capture pollutants from vehicle emissions – making their site safer and healthier for the staff and children and encouraging birds like jays, sparrowhawks and woodpeckers.
