    The School Day

    Nursery: their own nursery gate

    Reception and Year One: the Kender Street gate

    Year Two and Three: the Briant Street gate

    Years Four, Five and Six: the Faulkner Street gate.

    When children arrive at school they will walk straight into their classrooms and are expected to be ready for learning by 9.00am.

    Children who arrive late, after 9.05am, should come through the main school entrance.

    Nursery

    Morning session: 8.45 to 11.45am

    Afternoon session: 12.45 to 3.45

    Children attending full time: 8.45 to 3.45

    Early Years Reception, Infants (KS1) and Juniors (KS2)

    The school day starts at 9.00am and finishes at 3.30pm.

    Lunchtime and breaktimes:

    Children in KS1 have an hour and fifteen minutes for their lunchtime and children in KS2 have an hour for lunch break.

    All children have a morning break time, of twenty minutes, and there is a longer afternoon break for all children on a Friday.

    Arrangements for break times can vary according to the school terms.

    Breakfast Club and WrapAround care

    We run wraparound care

    Morning: 7.15 to 8.45

    After School: 3.45 to 5.45

    Attendance at Wraparound must be pre-booked via Arbor. 

    Afternoon collection

    Each afternoon, the gates open from 3.20 and close at 3.45. Parents can collect their children form the following gates:

    Nursery: their own nursery gate

    Reception and Year One: the Kender Street gate; leaving through Briant Street gate

    Years Two, Three, Four and Five: the Faulkner Street gate; leaving through Briant Street gate

    Year Six: children leave by themselves; leaving through Briant Street 

    Children who are not collected by 3.45 will be brought to the Headteacher’s office; parents or carers will have to sign and state the reason for their lateness.
